You will be glad to know that in addition to using static images as your lock screen and home wallpapers, you can use videos as well for your lock screen.

A video wallpaper may not be very common but its use is increasing day by day and there are more and more devices adding support for it. Your iPhone does have support for it and you can use any of your videos as the wallpaper for both your home and lock screen on your device.

The procedure to set a video as wallpaper on your iPhone is a bit different than a static wallpaper procedure. It is because your iPhone only supports using Live Photos as your wallpapers. Making a Video Your Lock Screen with intoLive App

The thing with an iPhone is that it does not have a built-in converter to help you turn your normal videos into Live Photos. However, that is not to say there is no way at all for you to perform a video to Live Photo conversion on your device.

There is actually a good app on the iOS App Store that helps you convert your regular videos to Live Photos. You can grab the app from the store and use it to convert any of your videos to Live Photos. Once that is done, you can then set the resulting video as a wallpaper on your iPhone.

The following steps should help you do it on your iPhone:

Step 1. Launch the iOS App Store on your iPhone and search for an app named intoLive. When the app page opens, tap on Get to download and install the app on your device.

Step 2. Open the app when it is installed. You will be asked to give it permission to access your photos. Allow it to do so, so it can fetch your videos.

Step 3. When your videos are fetched, they will be shown on the main interface of the app. Select the video you would like to use as a live wallpaper on your iPhone by tapping on it.

Step 4. On the following screen, the app will let you edit your video. You can apply filters, change the speed of the video, mute the video, rotate it, and so on. When you have made your changes, tap on Make at the top-right corner of your screen.
